Jena Wren (she/her)
Run Director
Ottawa, Ontario
Jena Wren (she/her) is an avid reader, craft-maker, and Library Technician student at Algonquin College. She began experiencing symptoms of endometriosis at age 13, but was not diagnosed until 21. After experiencing years of dismissal and barriers to care, Jena was motivated to advocate for better education, research, and support for those suffering from endometriosis.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Conflict Studies and Human Rights program, Jena was able to use her understanding of human rights and the right to health to advocate for the community. She is interested in the political side of endometriosis and encouraging elected officials to support the cause. This will be Jena’s first time hosting The Endo Network’s Run To End Endo™ in Ottawa, and she is excited to bring the community together.
Jena is grateful to live, work and gather on the land of the Anishinabe Algonquin.
